Lincoln city on the Oregon Coast is home to the surfing beach of Roads End State Recreation Site, where almost constant waves can be found. The beach is wide and long with a gentle slope to the waterline which makes it easy for noobs and pros. Home to the annual surfing competition Nelscott Reef Big Wave Classic, where some of the biggest waves on the west coast can be found.
Made up of several areas including the Taft District, Nelscott, Oceanlake, and Cutler City, Lincoln city is a haven for beachcombers and nature lovers alike. The town’s 11 miles of ocean beaches are open to the public for kite flying, horseback riding, beach strolling, agate hunting, and of course, surfing. |
