Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor
A breathtaking 12-mile stretch of rugged coastline featuring some of Oregon's most iconic natural wonders. Stops like Arch Rock, Natural Bridges, and Whaleshead Beach offer dizzying views of sea stacks and crashing waves.

Harris Beach State Park
Located just north of town, this popular park features a long sandy beach scattered with impressive rock formations. It's a prime spot for tide pooling, kite flying, and watching the sunset behind Bird Island (Goat Island), a National Wildlife Sanctuary.

Azalea Park
The crown jewel of Brookings' parks, famous for its native wild azaleas that explode with color in spring. The park also features a bandshell for summer concerts, a formal garden, and the spectacular 'Nature's Coastal Holiday' light display in December.

The southernmost park on the Oregon Coast, located right at the California border. A modern welcome center offers information, and trails lead to a wide, driftwood-scattered beach perfect for long walks.

Redwood Nature Trail
Located in Loeb State Park, this accessible trail winds through a grove of majestic coastal redwoods and fragrant Myrtlewood trees. It's a magical, fern-filled forest walk.
Arch Rock Viewpoint
