Salishan Golf Links
A legendary 18-hole course originally designed by Peter Jacobsen. It winds through rugged coastal pines and along the Siletz Bay, offering challenging play with stunning scenery at every hole.
Open to the public. Pro shop and driving range available.
Gleneden Beach State Recreation Site
The primary public access to the beach. A beautiful spot for a picnic or beach walk, known for its soft sand, large driftwood logs, and the opportunity to spot whales just offshore.
Free parking, restrooms, and picnic tables.
Fishing Rock State Recreation Site
A hidden gem located just north of the main town. A short trail leads to a dramatic headland offering panoramic views of the ocean and a perfect vantage point for whale watching.
Day-use only. Great for photography.
Salishan Marketplace
An upscale, open-air shopping center featuring art galleries, a candy shop, coffee house, and boutiques. A perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon browsing local artisan goods.

Alder House Glass Blowing
One of the oldest glass blowing studios in Oregon. Visit during the summer season to watch artists shape molten glass into incredible vases and floats, set in a rustic wooded location.

Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge
Located at the south end of Gleneden Beach, this refuge protects salt marsh, brackish marsh, and mudflats. It's a prime spot for birdwatching, kayaking, and seeing the 'ghost forest' pilings.
Best viewed by kayak or from Hwy 101 pullouts.

Walk the shoreline from the state recreation site. The beach here is steeper with coarser sand than Lincoln City, offering a more rugged workout and excellent agate hunting.
Fogarty Creek Trail
Located just north of town, this trail follows a creek through a wind-protected canyon under spruce trees, emerging at a sheltered cove perfect for rock hounding.
Cedar Creek Trail
A quiet forest walk located near the local community center. It offers a peaceful escape into the second-growth timber and fern-filled gullies typical of the central coast.
