Nehalem

Located on a 4-mile sandspit between Nehalem Bay and the Pacific Ocean, this popular park offers camping, hiking, beachcombing, kayaking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The calm bay waters provide perfect conditions for kayaking and paddleboarding. Excellent crabbing and clamming at low tide. Features 265 campsites, 18 yurts, hiker-biker camp, and even a fly-in camp for small aircraft. A 1.8-mile bike trail connects the ocean to the bay through coastal forest. Wildlife including deer, elk, mountain lions, black bears, coyotes, and abundant birdlife call this area home.

One of Oregon's 10 oldest wineries, established in a beautiful historic setting in a lush green valley on Highway 53, one mile off Highway 101. Sample traditional red and white vintages plus sweet and fruity wines at outdoor picnic tables overlooking dairy pastures. The winery offers a peaceful escape with stunning pastoral views.
