Port of Brookings Harbor
The heartbeat of the community and one of the safest bars on the West Coast. It's a hive of activity with commercial fishing boats unloading their catch, sport fishing charters departing daily, and a boardwalk lined with shops and restaurants.
Great for crabbing off the public pier.
Sporthaven Beach
A broad, sandy beach protected by the north jetty of the Chetco River. It's a favorite spot for surfers, campers, and those looking to watch fishing boats navigate the river bar. The sunsets here are spectacular.

Crissey Field State Recreation Site
The southernmost Oregon state park, featuring a modern welcome center and trails leading to a pristine beach. It's an excellent spot for birdwatching in the wetlands and finding driftwood along the shore.
